Many of us have mentally ill family members and close friends in our lives. If this resonates with you, I invite you to register for our next NAMI Family-to-Family Education Program, which is a free, 12-session course for family caregivers of individuals with severe mental illnesses. The course provides information on various types of mental illness, relationships to brain disorders, medications and other treatments, communication and coping skill training, and information about other locally available resources, such as NAMI support groups.

All instruction and course materials are provided by NAMI at no charge to participants. The course is taught by trained family members in similar circumstances to your own. Other participants may be coping with challenges similar to your own as well. Over 300,000 family members have graduated from this national program.
